Farmington Youth Conservation Corps (YCC)
The Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) was created in 1992 to provide a process to employ the youth in public projects as an off branch of the Civilian Conservation Corps started by President Franklin D Roosevelt amongst other New Deal Plans to help decrease the unemployment in the United States. Participants of the YCC learn employment skills, work ethics, as well as self-discipline and self-esteem.

MISSION
Promote the education, success and well-being of the youth of New Mexico through the conservation and enhancement of the state's natural resources and lasting community benefits.

VISION
A New Mexico where Youth Conservation Corps members contribute to the quality of life of all New Mexicans.

9/6/17 In November we will find out if the grant for the summer of 2018 is accepted.

10/5/17  I am pleased to announce that we have been pushed to the next step in the process to getting the Grant.
